Day 1 Athens

Arrival in Athens and private pick-up from Athens International Airport. You will be transferred to your chic central hotel in Athens, where you’re going to rest after your trip. Optional afternoon tour to Athens city center and dinner at a
central restaurant. Overnight in Athens.
Day 2 Athens

In the morning, one of our experienced travel guides will meet you at the hotel and take you on a history tour in Athens. Starting from the Acropolis, you’re going to visit the most important landmarks including the Temple of
Zeus, Kallimarmaro, the Acropolis Museum, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Pnyx Hill, and more. You’ll also discover some picturesque and super-photogenic neighborhoods, like Plaka, Thissio, and Koukaki. After the tour, you’ll sit at a traditional tavern and trry some of the best Greek delicacies, including souvlaki, Greek salad, pita gyros, and handmade pies. At the end of the tour, our driver will drop you off at your hotel. Overnight in Athens.
Day 3 Sounion

Today, you’ll set off on a day trip to Cape Sounio, where you’ll visit the imposing Temple of Poseidon. After a delightful ride along the Athenian Riviera, you’ll arrive at Cape Sounio, where the Temple of Poseidon lies. An experienced
archaeologist will show you around the temple and tell you everything about the fascinating history of this Golden Age masterpiece. After you have visited the temple, you’re going to enjoy a refreshing dip into the waters of the Aegean followed by a seafood meal at a seaside tavern and an afternoon cocktail. You can end the day with sunset watching at the Temple of the Poseidon or return to Athens before sunset. Overnight in Athens.
Day 4 Athens

Today, you’re going to have a taste of the local cuisine and discover all the culinary gems of Athens through a food tour. In the morning, an experienced local food expert will meet you at your hotel and guide you
through the local food markets, herb shops, delicatessens, and traditional shops. You’ll have the chance to taste scrumptious delicacies and learn everything about the gastronomic history of Greece. After the tour, you’re going to enjoy a traditional meze dinner at a tavern in downtown Athens. Overnight in Athens.
Day 5 Corinth

On the final day of this trip, you’ll embark on a day trip to Ancient Corinth, one of the most important cities in Ancient Greece. Ancient Corinth was inhabited in the Neolithic Age, around 6,500 BC and, thanks to its
strategic position, it was a major trade hub. At the archaeological site of Ancient Corinth, you’ll find many important monuments, including the Temple of Apollo, Odeion, the Fountain of Glauke, and Asklepieion. After the tour, you’ll enjoy a hearty meal at a tavern in Corinth before returning to Athens. If you’re planning on visiting a Greek island or going back home, our driver can transfer you to the airport or the port.

Amazing cultural trip to Athens!

We booked this trip because we wanted to see all the archaeological sites and attractions in Athens and have a taste of the local way of living. It was everything I expected and more! I really liked the fact that the trip included two day trips, one to Sounion and one to Ancient Corinth. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the authentic side of Athens and understand the context of the archaeological sites.
