Day 1 Athens

Arrival in Athens and private pick-up from Athens International Airport. You will be transferred to the hotel of your choice, where you’re going to rest after your trip. Optional afternoon tour to Athens city center and dinner at a central
restaurant. Overnight in Athens.
Day 2 Athens-Santorini

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Athens International Airport, where you’ll catch your flight to Santorini, the starting point of this trip. Once you’ve settled in, you’re free to relax until the afternoon, when you’re going to go on a
majestic hike from Fira to Oia. Starting from Fira village, you’re going to follow one of the most breathtaking hiking paths in Greece that leads to Oia. This path passes through some of the most beautiful whitewashed villages in Santorini and offers majestic caldera views along the way. When you arrive in Oia, you’re going to rest and take in the views before being transferred back to Fira for dinner. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 3 Santorini

On your second day in Santorini, you’re free to spend a leisurely day until the afternoon, when you’re going to go on a sunset boat tour to the volcano. Starting from the old port of Santorini, you’ll sail to the
volcanic bay of Erinia, from where you can hike to the active volcano craters. The next stop of the sailing trip will be Palea Kameni, where you’ll swim in the volcanic hot springs and enjoy their healing properties. On your way back to Santorini, you’ll watch the sun sink into the sea and marvel at the dramatic views of the caldera from the boat. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 4 Santorini-Heraklion

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch a flight to Heraklion in Crete. Upon your arrival, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in, you’ll embark on a tour
to the vineyards of Heraklion. During the tour, you’re going to enjoy a hike through rolling vineyards and olive groves followed by a wine tasting session at a traditional winery. At the end of the tour, you’ll enjoy a delicious farm-to-table lunch. Optional afternoon tour to the Minoan Palace of Knossos. Overnight in Heraklion.
Day 5 Heraklion

On your second day in Crete, you’re going to hike along one of the most stunning gorges in Crete: Agiofarango. The 6 km hike through Agiofarango is scenic: along the way, you’ll see caves, chapels, natural springs, as well as
many plant and animal species. At the end of the gorge there is an idyllic beach, where you can take a refreshing dip after your hike or snorkel. Overnight in Heraklion.
Day 6 Heraklion-Athens

After breakfast, you can enjoy a last swim in Heraklion. Then, you will be transferred to the airport, where you’re going to catch a flight back to Athens. If you’re planning to go to a Greek island or head back
home, our driver can transfer you to the port or the airport.

Breathtaking locations and wonderful guides.

We had an awesome week exploring Athens, Santorini and Crete and doing fun activities in nature! We visited the Santorini volcano, we hiked on the caldera, did trekking, went for wine tasting, ate delicious food and we loved every bit of it. The guides were so kind and fun, too. They made sure that we could follow along and modified the activities we found to be a bit challenging. Thank you for everything!

This adventure in Santorini and Crete far exceeded our expectations!

Everything was very well organized before our trip, so we enjoyed everything that was arranged for us, including hiking, wine tasting, a sunset cruise to the volcano of Santorini and sightseeing. What we loved about this trip is that it combines adventure with culture and tradition. We recommend it to anyone who’s looking for an active trip to Greece but also wants to discover the local culture and cuisine!
