Day 1 Paris

Welcome to Paris, the City of Lights, romance, and macarons! Upon your arrival at Charles de Gaulle airport, a private driver will be waiting to pick you up and whisk you to your luxurious hotel with a beautiful Eiffel Tower
view. After you have settled in, a local food expert will meet you at the hotel and introduce you to the local culinary scene through a delicious food tour. You’re going to discover the cutest Parisian bistros, taste the infamous macarons, learn the secrets of mille-feuille, and satisfy your sweet tooth with the finest chocolates. The day will end with a French dinner at a chic downtown restaurant. Overnight in Paris.
Day 2 Paris

Today, you’ll spend the day exploring Paris with your spouse! After breakfast, an experienced guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a private walking tour through the city. During the tour, you’re going to learn
everything about the history of Paris and visit some of the city’s most iconic monuments, including the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysées, and the Arc de Triomphe. After the tour, you’re going to eat lunch at a chic restaurant in the 7th Arrondissement followed by an afternoon cocktail. You can enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Paris.
Day 3 Paris

Another flavorful day in Paris has begun! Today, a local chef will pick you up from your hotel to show you the crème de la crème of Parisian gastronomy. Parisian food markets are the base of the city’s culinary scene
and are great places for introducing yourself to the local cuisine. During the tour, you’re going to visit some of the city’s best food markets, including Marché Montorgueil, Marché International de Rungis, Marché Bastille, and Marché Président-Wilson. Taste the finest French products, chat with the locals, buy your favorite foods and wines… Wandering the stalls of the Parisian food markets is one of the best things to do in Paris! After the tour, you’re going to take a cooking class, in which you’ll learn how to make a delicious French dish from scratch. Overnight in Paris.
Day 4 Paris-Bordeaux

After breakfast, you’ll be off to the next destination of this trip, Bordeaux. A famous wine-growing region and home to numerous quaint villages, Bordeaux is the perfect place to introduce yourself to the art of winemaking. You’re going to get
from Paris to Bordeaux by train, which will give you the chance to marvel at the breathtaking scenery along the way. Upon your arrival in Bordeaux, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax for the rest of the day. Overnight in Bordeaux.
Day 5 Bordeaux

Today, a private guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a wine tour through the idyllic vineyards of St. Julien and Margaux, two of the most famous wine regions in Bordeaux. During the tour, you’re
going to learn everything about the wine-making process, from harvest to production, and enjoy wine tasting sessions guided by experienced sommeliers. After the tour, you’ll have the remainder of the day free. Overnight in Bordeaux.
Day 6 Bordeaux-Lyon

After one last breakfast in Bordeaux, you’ll be off to your next destination, Lyon. Lyon, the capital of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, is a city with enduring history located along the banks of the Rhône river. Famous for its gastronomy and
Renaissance architecture, Lyon has a lot to offer in terms of culture and sightseeing. Upon your arrival, a private driver will pick you up from the airport and whisk you to your downtown hotel in Lyon. Overnight in Lyon.
Day 7 Lyon

After breakfast, a local chef is going to pick you up from your hotel and take you on a food tour. Justly acclaimed gastronomic capital of the world, Lyon is the perfect place for introducing yourself to the French culinary
scene! Lyon’s cuisine is based on meat, seafood, dairy, olive oil, and wine, all fresh and locally produced. Day 8 Lyon

It’s time to say goodbye to Lyon! After a farewell breakfast in bed, a private driver will pick you up and whisk you to the airport to catch a flight back home or to your next destination.

Unique culture and culinary experience in France

The best food and history tour of France! We began our trip in Paris and then went to the Bordeaux region and Lyon, a town famed for its cuisine. It didn’t disappoint! Every dish and wine we tasted was extraordinary! Our guide was amazing too! He provided us with a ton of interesting info and recommended some excellent restaurants. We can’t wait to be back!

This trip brought us to some amazing food and culture experiences off the beaten tourist trail. We tasted excellent wines at Bordeaux wineries and ate the most delicious food in Lyon! Learning the history of those places was very interesting too. We highly recommend this trip!
